By default of living in a tourist town our businesses often get a bad wrap for having tourist prices. There are some really good unknown deals out there. Luckily for you, this local has your back! I've found the best deals in town for you.
Julian Beer Co.
The Julian Beer Co. definitely has the cheapest meal options in town. Two dollars and fifty cents for a slice of yummy cheese pizza! You can get a slice of pizza, a soda, and a slice of pie for $11! Not a bad deal. If pizza isn't your thing, they have a Three Rib Sampler, Wedge Salad, Caesar Salad, and a BBQ Sandwich; all are $10 or less.
Apple Alley
Apple Alley has half sandwiches and salads starting at just $4.25. You can also order a chili pot pie or a calzone that are available for $6.95. And my personal favorite option is their $10.95 lunch special, half a sandwich, soup or salad, and a piece of their fresh-made slice of pie. I know it’s over our budget but for the amount of fresh food you get, it’s a steal.
Jack's Grocery and Deli
Jack's Deli has a variety of warm and cold sandwiches as well as their grocery store options that allow you to get a sandwich, chips, and a drink.
Poncho Villas
Tucked away in Coleman Village, you can find Poncho Villa's Restaurant. They have a variety of options under $10.
Miner’s Diner
Miner's Diner is one of my favorite places in town because of its historic charm. Their lunch menu options are out of the $10 budget but my favorite breakfast options are in the price range! The Prospector and their Biscuits & Gravy are great options you are sure to be happy with.
Julian Cafe
Can’t beat home-style cooking! At the Julian Cafe, you can find omelets, an egg sandwich, pancakes, and more for under $10.
